When The Earth Reclaims A Church

I applaud her.
The movement of vines
through broken glass,
the moss on the pews,
the blooms on the alter,
when greenery entwines with concrete
covering the murals
becomes their own gospel-
becomes a silent preacher
singing their own gospel-
covering the murals,
greenery entwined with concrete,
the blooms on the alter,
the moss on the pews,
the movement of vines through broken glass,
I applaud her, the Earth
when she reclaims a church.
